Nigerian Ex-International Model and Entrepreneur, Aisha Bello Scouts For Young Models

Former Nigerian international super model, Aisha Bello, who is the CEO and Creative Director for the elegantebyaisha clothing,a Nigerian premium fast-growing ready-to-wear brand and also the Director of Star Models Africa is currently on a scouting tour in Africa searching for the most exotic African women. 

Aisha who made this known over the week, said that her aim is to discover the most beautiful models from Africa and present them to the International market for modeling. 

"I intend to create a platform for young African girls by making their dreams come through and also giving them a glamorous career", the globetrotting Aisha disclosed.

Aisha Bello who started her agency, Star Models Africa on the 8th of January 2017 promised to make the Nigerian and African Modeling industry better for the up coming young Africa girls as her intention is all about empowering women.

Currently in Ghana on that mission, Aisha also made known that she will be launching her NGO for women empowerment immediately she gets back to Lagos. 

The former international model said she will now tour the whole of Africa to scout for more girls, following her trip to Kenya and Rwanda in January. 

This April she is touring Ghana,Sierra Loene and Liberia, after which she will be heading to East African countries including Ethiopia, Somalia,Eritrea, Namibia, and Uganda in June. 

Together with her partners, kamila Lumor a Ghanaian top model based in Italy, and the most successful Ghanaian choreographer cum catwalk instructor, have already launched her Star Models Africa in Ghana on the 7th of April.

Aisha Bello was an international model who has grace all the International catwalks of the world.

Nigerian Singer Jemiriye Gets Rousing Welcome From Ivorian Govt As She Headlines The MASA Festival

Nigerian-American based Afrocentric musician, Jemiriye, received a rousing welcome from the government of Ivory Coast during her recent week-long performance in the country.

Jemiriye who is returning to Africa after five years of her relocating to the United States, made the famous MASA Festival in Abidjan her first stop. The MASA  Festival  (Market for African Performing Arts) which is in its 25th year anniversary, ran from March 10 to 17 2018 and had artistes all around the world in attendance.

On landing the soils of Ivory Coast, Jemiriye was received by the Minister for Culture and Tourism, Maurice Kouakou Bandaman and his team.

Jemiriye then proceeded into the Festival thrilling fans at different venues for the entire week, among which are Treichville, Yopougon and Medreke in Abidjan.

Since emerging one of the finalists in the 2012/13 season of the Nigerian Idol music reality show, Jemiriye Adeniji who immediately relocated to the US has been travelling all over the world entertaining music enthusiasts with her unique brand of African music.

A recipient of International Cultural Ambassador honour in Miami,the high point of her career was   performing for the Philadelphia Phillies vs Miami Marlin's game on April 21, 2015, where Jemiriye, gave a beautiful rendition of the anthem, "Take me out to the Ballgame" to a stadium full of fans. 

Televised live at the Citizens Bank Park Stadium, Philadelphia, the game also marked the 42nd anniversary of the death of late baseball great, Jackie Robinson, making her the first Black African to perform at the show.
