World Super Stars Grace Leo Messi’s Wedding To Childhood Sweetheart

More than 250 friends and family - including some of football's biggest stars and pop star Shakira jetted to Argentina, to watch the sporting star, 30, marry Antonella Roccuzzo, 29, at the plush hotel complex as an alleged family feud threatened to overshadow the day.

The couple, who have known each other for some 25 years, banned mobile phones at the event. Staff were also sworn to secrecy and 450 police officers were drafted in for the big day.

Antonella looked stunning in a white lace Rosa Clara dress, while Messi was wearing an Armani suit designed by Argentinian designer Claudio Cosano.

The world's press lined a red carpet at the entrance of the hotel in Rosario.

Nigerian Doctor Storms Hospital, Opens Fire On Colleagues, Before Killing Self In New York

One doctor was shot and killed and at least six other people were injured on Friday afternoon inside Bronx-Lebanon Hospital Center after a former doctor at the hospital opened fire with an assault rifle, officials said.

The gunman, who was wearing a white lab coat, was killed, apparently by a self-inflicted gunshot wound, the police said. He was identified by a police official as Henry Bello.

On the hospital’s website a Henry Bello is listed as a doctor employed in family medicine.

The hospital’s fire alarm system had been set off, apparently because the gunman had tried to set himself on fire.

In a post which has since gone viral on twitter with over 180,000 likes, she wrote: "My little sister's boyfriend is moving and their goodbyes were the saddest thing ever went" .

Top authorities in the Lagos Police Command have summoned an emergency meeting with leaders of Oodua People’s Congress (OPC) led by its National Leader, Otunba Gani Adams and other vigilante groups.

The meeting as we were told, is geared towards combatting incessant kidnapping and cultism attacks in Ikorodu axis of the state.

Woman Faints In Shock After Breaking N14m Bracelet

 

A tourist in China is reported to have fainted after accidentally breaking a jade bracelet worth 300,000 yuan (N14,000, 000).

The woman was visiting a jade market in Ruili City, south western China's Yunnan province on June 27 when she accidentally dropped a bracelet while trying it on.

Unfortunately for the woman, the jade bracelet snapped in half, reports the People's Daily Online.

According to reports, the bracelet slipped out of her hand and it cracked in two after hitting the floor.
Footage shows the moment the woman faints upon learning the price of the bracelet.

Jade is a luxury product in China and is seen to represent good health and a long life.

kidnapper Evans, sues IGP three others over his continuous detention

Notorious kidnapper, Chukwudumeme Onwuamadike a.k.a. Evans, has filed a lawsuit against the Inspector General of Police, Ibrahim Idris and three others at the Federal High Court in Lagos over his continuous detention.

Also joined in the lawsuit as respondents are Nigeria Police Force, Commissioner of Police, Lagos State and the Special Anti-Robbery Squad, Lagos State Police Command.

Evans who was arrested at his Magodo mansion in Lagos on June 10th, says his detention without trial is illegal and wants the police to release him.

A Chinese woman, Ms Alimihan Seyiti, from China's western Xinjiang Uyghur Autonomous Region, is believed to be the world's oldest person after celebrating her 131st birthday on June 25. Her ID card shows she was born on June 25, 1886 and she spent her birthday at home with her 56 descendants. Man Trades Boy For 3 Bags Of Rice In Lagos

An unidentified middle aged man abducted a 10-year-old boy, who was on an errand for his mother, and exchanged him for three bags of rice in Ijegun area of Lagos.

The suspect, now on the run, reportedly accosted the victim (names withheld), weekend, at Prince Bus Stop, Isheri Oshun, while on the errand for his mother. He was said to have introduced himself to the unsuspecting boy as a relative.

In an apparent move to convince the boy, the stranger, followed him to the shop where he was sent to buy a bottle of groundnut oil and thereafter, took him to a shop where he collected three bags of rice.

Robbers attack, rape students of Ignatius Ajuru University of Education (IAUE)

Students of Ignatius Ajuru University of Education living in an off-campus residence located directly opposite the university have cried out after facing constant rape and attacks from robbers.

According to Vanguard, residents of the building have accused the  Police Divisional Headquarters in the area of not taking the situation seriously.

Narrating his experience, one of the victims, Bright John said they are living in constant fear due to the attacks. He also revealed that they are being robbed at gunpoint with their laptops and phone taken away which negatively affects their studies.

12-year-old boy found guilty of murdering his 11-year-old 'girlfriend' in Kenya, claims "dark forces ordered him to stab her"

                     

A 12 year old Standard Three pupil was this week charged before Naivasha High Court judge Christine Meoli for killing his 11-year-old girlfriend identified as Mary Nduta in Magumu village in Kinangop, Kenya.
The boy(pictured with his lawyer) from Kinangop allegedly stabbed the girl to death on July 5, 2016,claiming that dark forces ordered him to stab the girl three times as the two had sex.

The High Court found the boy guilty of murder. He denied the charge and Justice Meoli directed that he be held at Engineer Police station in Kinangop until the 28th of July when the case will come up for mentioning.
However, the court ruled that the accused was experiencing a difficult childhood in a dysfunctional family and sent him to Kimumu junior probation hostels for three years.

Nigerian Man Is Declared Britain's Most Dangerous Prisoner

         

One of the murderers of Fusilier Lee Rigby is now regarded as the most dangerous prisoner in the British penal system.

Muslim extremist Michael Adebolajo, 31, has been described by prison officer as “violent, unpredictable and a major danger to other prisoners”. But the real threat he poses is his ability to radicalise other inmates, prison sources have revealed.

Dozens of prisoners have said to have fallen for Adebolajo’s twisted version of Islam and have vowed to become Jihadis when they are eventually freed.

Even non-Muslim prisoners are said to have converted to Islam and sworn an allegiance to Islamic State after being radicalised by the killer.

Police Under Pressure To Release Billionaire Kidnapper Evans

Police authority in Lagos said that the force is being pressurized to released billionaire kidnap kingpin, Chukwudumeme Onwuamadike alias Evans.

Evans was arrested penultimate Saturday from his mansion at Magodo Estate, Lagos for multiple kidnappings.

A reward of N30 million was placed by the force for any useful information that could lead to his arrest.

The notorious kidnapper has been on the police wanted list for over seven years.

Nigerian rapper, Sauce Kid sentenced to two years in prison for stealing over $15,000 using stolen credit card

                            

Nigerian rapper, Babalola Falemi, popularly known as Sauce Kid was sentenced this week to two years in federal prison for stealing $15,388 using stolen credit card numbers in Boise and Meridian, Idaho Stateman News reported on June 23. 

According to the charge, Sauce Kid obtained stolen bank card numbers and identifying information from their owners. He then encoded the account numbers onto blank plastic cards.

 After using an automated system to change account PINs, he was able to withdraw cash from bank ATMS and buy merchandise from stores between July 23 and 26 2016. 

Five guys take same photo every five years for 35 years

Five friends from Santa Barbara High School have been snapping the same photo in the same pose on the same cabin bench every five years for the past 35 years since they took the first one in 1982.

Their photo streak started in 1982 when the friends, who were about 19 headed to a cabin that Wardlaw's grandpa built and took their first photo.The friends John "Wedge" Wardlaw, Mark Rumer-Cleary, Dallas Burney, John Molony and John Dickson recently gazed at the camera of Copco Lake on the California-Oregon border to capture their eighth entry into the photo collection.
