Ex-Super Eagles Player Explains How Evans Killed His Father After Collecting N15m Ransom

When news broke that suspected notorious kidnap kingpin, Chukwudubem Onwuamadike (aka Evans) had been arrested in Lagos by the police on June 10, many people celebrated the security agencies that made it happen.

But far less known was the celebration it produced in the compound of the Iloenyosi family of Abagana, Anambra State.

For this family, the news of Evans arrest was a personal victory.

It all began one early morning on November 25, 2013 when the patriarch of the family, Chief James Iloenyosi, was kidnapped on his way back from mass.

Rapper T.I's first daughter Deyjah turned 16 recently and her parents threw her a beautiful sweet 16 birthday party on Thursday and she invited all of her classmates to the party. According to insiders, the part cost $50k to throw.

Irish teacher killed in horror car crash in Thailand 'while having sex

An Irishman teacher who was killed in a horror car crash in Thailand was reportedly having sex with a Thai woman at the back seat when the driver lost control, Authorities believe.

The Ex-pat English teacher John Malone, 39, was said to be travelling in a speeding black Suzuki when it lost control and hit a concrete post on Wednesday morning at 1am, Daily Mail reported

Ooni Of Ife Says that he is practising Christian, Muslim and a traditionalist

The Ooni of Ife, Oba Adeyeye Ogunwusi, says he is a practicing Christian, Muslim & Traditionalist. The Ooni who has been seen attending church services and also some traditional activities in Ile-Ife, said this in a recent interview with The Osasu Show.

According to him,  there is nothing demonic in our ancient traditional religion.

 A heartbroken fan reached out to Rihanna, asking for help in handling the effects of a broken relationship and Rihanna's response to him succeeded in getting the singer more fans.

Not Again; Kidnappers Write To Another Lagos School, Vow To Abduct Pupils

There is palpable fear at the Lagos State Model College, Kankon, Badagry, as kidnappers have threatened to abduct some pupils and staff members of the school.

It was learnt that the kidnappers sent two letters of the same content to the junior and senior sections of the college respectively.

This is just as the daughter of a councillorship candidate of the All Progressives Congress in the Odi Olowo Local Council Development Association, Ilupeju, Bode Adeosun, was reportedly abducted.

Punch Metro gathered yesterday that that the letters sent to Kankon were posted on the corridors leading to the offices of the two principals.

Mother of 4 allegedly dupes Facebook lover of N5 million in Lagos

The police in Lagos have arrested 33 year old single mother of four, Aishat Akintunde pictured above, for allegedly defrauding her Facebook lover of money and properties valued at about N5 million. According to PM news, Aishat, a native of Abeokuta, Ogun State, met her France-based victim, Ayobami Adeniyi online in 2016 and promised to marry him.
Trouble started for the suspect when the DCP in charge of Federal SARS, Lagos, Ibrahim Kaoje dispatched a team led by DSP Olaniyi Festus to Sango Ota area of Ogun State to arrest a suspected female smuggler that allegedly sold an unregistered Renault bus with properties inside value at about N2.5 million for just N1 million.

Police rescue 13-year-old boy chained by his father over alleged N2000 theft in Ogun

Officers attached to Sgamu Police Division of the Ogun State Command has rescued a 13-year-old teenager, who was chained by his father for stealing his N2,000 at their residence in Shagamu.

Neighbours found the teenager naked on the bare floor with his hands and legs bound. There are reportedly blood stains on his body.

When asked why he was in the position, his father, Adeoye Oreyomi, 41, accused him of stealing his N2,000.

A resident, Modupe Okeshola, alleged that it was not the first time the boy was tortured by his father.

South African actress Khanyi Mbau on a show "Real Talk with Anele" defended her plastic surgery procedures while making references to some quotes supposedly from the bible. According to Mbau, 
"Now I'm going to preach. I'm going to take people to church because I'm from a christian family, so most of my references come from that. The Bible says I am who I am through Christ who strengthens me. 

Update : Kung Fu Kicks, Chinese Company Says Victim Injured Self

Bedmate Furniture Company has faulted the allegations of a worker with the firm, William Ekanem, that his immediate boss, Master Wan, crippled him with kung fu kicks.

 The company said Ekanem, who allegedly had a history of stealing property of the company, was blackmailing the firm.

Bedmate explained that he was caught a few weeks to the incident with some celotapes, a claim that Ekanem denied.

 It added that a medical report from Beachland Specialist Hospital, Arepo, indicated that the 27-year-old only had pains in some parts of his body after falling during a scuffle with Master Wan, who wanted to search him.

The actress no longer bear her husband’s name and has officially yanked it off her instagram page. Uche shortly after her wedding included his name on her social media platforms, but it seems all that is gone now.She now simply has her father’s name- Jombo as her only other name on her Instagram page. Muslim women lend Christians their hijabs to help them escape Isis in disguise

There are about 1,500 people trapped in the Filipino town of Marawi which has been besieged by Isis linked terrorists. Almost 100 people have escaped on foot while others escape by swimming across the river. Some Muslim women, in order to help Christians escape the terrorists, have given them their hijabs to use in disguising themselves.

Those who made it out of the besieged town alive are attended to by Medics and one of them has recounted the experience as told by the lucky escapees.

“Some of the stories that stuck were Muslims helping protect Christian workers by letting them borrow a hijab,” said Dr Gioia Ancheta, head of the psychosocial therapy team.

France Elects 233 Number Of Women To Parliament

France voted a record number of women into parliament, election results showed today, after President Emmanuel Macron's victorious Republic on the Move (LREM) party fielded a gender-balanced candidate list.

Of the 577 newly elected lawmakers, 223 were female, beating the previous record of 155 set after the last election.

That sent France leapfrogging from 64th to 17th in the world rankings of female parliamentary representation and to 6th place in Europe, overtaking Britain and Germany, according to Inter-parliamentary Union data compiled at the start of June.

Five Women Sell 3 Year-Old Boy For N600,000

Operatives of the Imo State Police Command have arrested a five-woman gang, which specialises in child trafficking for stealing a three year-old boy in Ngor Okpala Local Government Area of the state.
The suspects are Chinonye Okere, Joy Ama, Eucheria Amadi, Pauline Uzoamaka and Nnenne Okere.

Parading them before newsmen in Owerri, the state capital, the Commissioner of Police, Chris Ezike, commended the Surveillance Unit of the command, led by Bassy Asamba, a Superintendent of Police, for doing a good job and for going the extra mile to Lagos to rescue the child.

OAP Freeze took to his Instagram page to reveal that his kids attend the same school as Kidnapper Evan's kids. In an Instagram post he wrote;
Just found out today, from a friend of mine who lives 2 houses away from Evans, that Evans kids allegedly go to the same school as my kids? Can you imagine?? According to my friend, the latest 2016/2017 Lexus, like the one pictured above, is what he had allegedly seen the wife drive several times. He said that his own wife used to wonder how a woman who couldn't speak english could drive such an expensive car. He assumed that he was a successful igbo trader.

Apapa road to be closed for one-year as FG begins reconstruction

A section of the Apapa Wharf road will be shut down for a year to allow engineers carry out reconstruction of the road that has been in a deplorable state for many years.

Minister of Works, Power and Housing, Babatunde Fashola, disclosed this at the signing of a N4.34 Billion Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with Dangote Group and other stakeholders for the reconstruction of the road in Lagos today June 17th.
